The Jewish Festivals by Louis Jacobs. published by Achille J. St Onge, Worcester, Mass. in 1960
This miniature book is a delight to behold and we should be grateful to this publisher of miniature books who has included The Jewish Festivals on his list. Bound in blue leather with gold edges, the little book, less than 3 inches by 2 inches, was printed in Holland. The illustrations were originally published by Barton’s Bonbonniere. The text by Rabbi Jacobs of London is, naturally, concise, yet written in an interesting manner. Obviously this book is not as much intended for reading as to be enjoyed by book lovers.
